For years, I kept noticing something hiding in plain sight. There are significantly more women than men in many churches, but we talk far less about what that means for dating, marriage, and the growing number of Christians who remain single longer than they expected.


I call it the elephant in the sanctuary.


And I keep coming back to one question:

I’ve spent nearly two decades listening to Christian singles talk about love, faith, dating, and waiting. The longer I listened, the clearer it became that many of the struggles people blamed on themselves weren’t simply personal. The environment mattered too.
